Parenting is one of the hardest things there is. Whether you are trying to understand your child, repair a relationship that feels strained, or shift patterns that keep causing friction, you do not have to figure it out alone.

When the relationship shifts, children often do too. A child's emotional wellbeing is deeply shaped by the relationships around them. When parents feel more confident, more connected, and better equipped to respond to their child's needs, children feel the difference. That is the foundation of the work I do with families. This is not about being a perfect parent. It is about building something more secure and sustainable for everyone in the family. It means parenting has to be present, responsive, and warm. That is what we work toward together.

I also understand that parents carry their own histories, stressors, and unmet needs into the parenting role. This work holds space for that too, without judgment.I approach this work without judgment, and with a lot of respect for how genuinely hard parenting can be.

My approach

Attuned, evidence-based, and family-centered.

I draw on two evidence-based approaches in my work with parents and families: Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Both are grounded in attachment research and have strong track records for strengthening parent-child relationships.

I have over a year of dedicated PCIT training under a clinical psychologist who specializes in child and adolescent anxiety, OCD, and neurodivergence. I bring that expertise directly into the work I do with families.

My approach is also deeply informed by neurodiversity. If your child is neurodivergent, I bring a genuinely affirming lens to understanding their behavior and helping you respond in ways that fit how their brain actually works.

Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)

Helps families understand the emotional cycles that drive disconnection and conflict, and supports parents in becoming a more accessible and responsive presence for their child.

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

An evidence-based approach that strengthens the parent-child relationship through coached, real-time interaction. Particularly effective for children with behavioral challenges, anxiety, and neurodivergence.

Neurodiversity-informed parenting

Understanding how neurodivergence shapes your child's behavior, sensory experience, and emotional responses, so you can respond with strategies that actually fit your child.

How the Process Works

We start with a call where you can share what is going on, ask questions, and get a sense of whether I am a good fit for your family. No commitment required.

Parent intake session

Before we begin family sessions, I meet with parents on their own to hear your concerns, your child's history, and what you are hoping for from therapy.

Sessions begin

Depending on what your family needs, sessions may involve parents only, parents and child together, or a mix of both. We figure out the right structure for your situation.

Skills and strategies at home

A lot of the work in family therapy happens between sessions. I will suggest things to try at home and check in on how they are going as we build momentum.
